Leaving Kent School, the car heads down Route 7 along the Housatonic, then across to Route 22 or I-84. From there to LGA it's Route 22 and I-684 south, then the Hutchinson and the Whitestone Bridge. Expect about 95 mi and 1 hr 48 min – 2 hr 8 min on a normal day; the Whitestone Bridge approach is where the time goes when traffic is heavy.

LaGuardia isn't the nearest airport to Kent School — that's HPN, about 1 hr 15 min away — but it's often the one with the right flight. You'll see the fixed fare before you book — in a sedan or an SUV, tolls included.

There's no station in town — the nearest is Wassaic on the Harlem Line, so the train trip already starts with a drive. From Wassaic, ride the Harlem Line to Harlem–125th Street and take the M60 bus to the terminals — the bus is the only transit link to LaGuardia.

The car takes 1 hr 48 min – 2 hr 8 min and starts at your front door. LaGuardia has no train at all, so for most people it's a car, a cab or the bus.
